Photo Shoot Preparation
Building ExteriorS & Surrounding Areas
We will capture a collection of images from the ground and the air to showcase the art deco architecture of the facility, as well as the preservation of its original Coca-Cola legacy.
Interior Common Areas
We will capture images of interior common areas throughout the day to take advantage of varying lighting conditions. Some areas, such as hallways and the photo wall, will only need to be captured once. Other areas, such as the lobby, we will want to capture at different parts of the day and evening.
We would also like to capture The Library (not shown) set for an event, but that can happen at a separate time.
Interior Guest Rooms
We will capture images of interior guest rooms during the day and evening. We can occupy one of the rooms, so we can capture it throughout the day and evening, and capture one or more unoccupied rooms, depending on how many different room configurations and/or specific design elements you'd like to catalog.
Blue Collar Coffee Shop
We will capture images of the coffee shop during busier (but not peak) parts of the day.
Sundry & Vice
We will also capture images of the hotel bar during busier (but not peak) parts of the evening.
We understand that Sundry & Vice is a separate entity from the hotel and have coordinated with the manager, Mary Barnett, to include as part of the shoot. We have made the same arrangement with her as with the hotel, and she has also agreed to allow the hotel to use any bar images as part of the hotel's marketing.
Exterior Common Areas
We will capture images of exterior common areas during both day and evening. Ideally, we'd like these to be set up for events (actual or staged) and/or populated. For any private events, such as a wedding reception, we can just shoot between setup and the beginning of the event, if necessary.
We know that there are plans for a happy hour in the works during the late spring and summer months, so we recommend setting up a shoot for any soft open events (it makes easier to manage model releases and appearance when the guests are private invitees).
The shoots for these areas can happen at separate times.
